Catching Up

The first week of May was nothing but study, literally, for the two peas. The wife got up in the morning and studied and studied and studied, until her brain couldn't handle any more information. And then she forced herself to study more.

Mother's day came and went in a flash, but not without wonderful moments. Check out the flowers hubby brought home!

Finals ended (finally!) and the two peas began looking forward to an open weekend. "What would you like to do?" Hubby asked. The wife wasn't sure, but thought about several possible activities during the week. Thursday night came, and the hubby asked if she had any ideas. After the wife listed a few random options, hubby got a big smile on his face and revealed that he had secretly booked a hotel getaway. How about that!

They relaxed in the spa, ate yummy food, and enjoyed a fabulous weekend. What a rewarding end to a challenging, mind-numbing semester! Now they're catching up on sleep, exercise, cleaning, and socializing.
